At Zayodo, we understand that plans can change. Our cancellation policy is designed to be fair to both our customers and service professionals while maintaining flexibility for unexpected situations.
Note: All cancellation requests must be made through our official channels - App, Website, or Customer Support. Verbal cancellations are not accepted.
2. Cancellation Timeline & Charges
Your cancellation charges depend on when you cancel relative to your scheduled service time. Here's our standard timeline:
Free Cancellation
Cancel anytime more than 24 hours before your scheduled service time and receive a 100% refund. No cancellation charges apply.
Partial Charges Apply
If you cancel between 6-24 hours before service, a 25% cancellation fee will be deducted from your refund.
Significant Charges Apply
Cancellation within 2-6 hours of service time incurs a 50% cancellation fee. This helps compensate our professionals for time blocked.
Full Charges Apply
Cancellations within 2 hours of service time or no-shows will be charged 100% of the service fee.
Important: Service time is calculated based on the scheduled start time. For recurring services, each appointment is treated separately.
3. Service-Specific Cancellation Policies
Some services have specific cancellation policies due to their unique nature:
Cleaning Services
Standard Cancellation: Follows general timeline
Special Notes: Deep cleaning services require 48-hour notice for free cancellation due to material preparation
Repair Services
Standard Cancellation: Follows general timeline
Special Notes: If parts have been ordered specifically for your repair, cancellation may incur additional charges
Beauty & Salon Services
Standard Cancellation: 12-hour notice required
Special Notes: Wedding or special occasion services require 72-hour notice for free cancellation
Moving Services
Standard Cancellation: 48-hour notice required
Special Notes: Vehicle and manpower are booked in advance. Late cancellations may incur higher charges
4. Emergency Cancellations
We understand that emergencies happen. In genuine emergency situations, we offer special consideration:
4.1 Qualifying Emergencies
- Medical Emergencies: With valid medical documentation
- Family Emergencies: Documented family emergencies
- Natural Disasters: Events preventing service delivery
- Government Restrictions: Lockdowns or travel restrictions
4.2 Process for Emergency Cancellations
- Contact customer support immediately (within 1 hour of emergency)
- Provide supporting documentation within 24 hours
- Our team will review and process waivers within 48 hours
- Refunds processed within 5-7 business days
Note: Emergency cancellations are reviewed on a case-by-case basis. We reserve the right to request additional documentation and make final decisions based on merit.
5. Professional Cancellations
While rare, sometimes our service professionals may need to cancel appointments:
5.1 Professional Initiated Cancellations
If a service professional cancels your appointment:
- You will receive immediate notification via SMS and app notification
- You will receive a 100% refund if payment was made
- You will receive priority booking for rescheduling
- You may receive a discount coupon for future services
5.2 Rescheduling Options
When a professional cancels, you can:
- Reschedule with the same professional at their next available slot
- Choose another verified professional immediately
- Cancel and receive full refund within 2 hours

Once you cancel a booking, here's what happens:
7.1 Refund Timeline
- Instant Refunds: Cancellations more than 24 hours in advance are usually processed within 2 hours
- Standard Refunds: Most refunds are processed within 24-48 hours
- Bank Processing: Once we process the refund, it may take 5-7 business days to reflect in your account
7.2 Refund Method
- Refunds are issued to the original payment method
- For wallet payments, amount is credited back to your Zayodo wallet
- Cash payments may require bank transfer (processed within 3-5 days)
Note: Refund timelines may vary based on your bank's processing time. International transactions may take 10-15 business days.
8. Special Circumstances
8.1 Recurring Services
For weekly or monthly recurring services:
- Each appointment can be cancelled individually following standard policy
- To cancel the entire recurring plan, 7 days notice is required
- Refunds for prepaid recurring plans are prorated
8.2 Package Deals
For service packages:
- Individual services within packages follow standard cancellation
- Package discounts may be forfeited if majority of services are cancelled
- Refunds for unused services are calculated at regular prices
8.3 Same-Day Bookings
For bookings made on the same day:
- Cancellation within 1 hour of booking is free (if service is more than 2 hours away)
- After 1 hour, standard cancellation charges apply
